Welcome to Goody's
Our Story
Goody's Tattoo was established in 2020, after returning to the Cape from Portland, Maine. Where Sean spent the last few years working at Tsunami tattoo. While he can still be found often in Maine, the Cape was calling and Goody's was born, a private studio located in the heart of downtown Orleans.
Our Mission
At Goody's we strive to create a relaxing and peaceful environment where together we can enjoy the experience of creating a custom design.
Tattoo Artist - Sean Shea
Born and raised on the Cape Sean has studied art and design for many years. After attending Nauset he went on to graduate from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2007 with a B.F.A. in Illustration. His Tattoo career would start a few years later in 2010 at Mooncusser Tattoo in Provincetown.
While working in many different styles, from traditional to realistic black and gray, Sean's work has lead him to focus primarily on what he calls Illustrative realism - a stretch of reality with proper lighting and perspective. Think mermaids, nature and nautical scenes. He is always up for the challenge of taking on new ideas, and welcomes yours!

Deposit Policy
- Once placed, Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE
- Deposits are used to hold the appointmets and are forfeited in the case of: (no exceptions)
- Clients failure to show at the time and date of the appointment.
- Failure to cancel with 7 days notice.
- 6-3 days before appointment a 50% penalty will be forfeited from the deposit.
- 3-1 days, entire deposit will be forfeited, a new deposit will be needed to reschedule.
- Notifiying through email is the ONLY way to reschedule.
- Rescheduling more then 3 times on a single project.
- Deposits will be used on the last scheduled session of that current project.
- Rates are subject to change, plenty of notice will be given.

Sean will be opening his schedule periodically through the New Year. Priority will go to existing clients with works in progress.
Hours and days vary. We do not hold regular walk - in hours. This is a private studio, so Sean only works when he is scheduled to make a tattoo or consultation. It is best to have an appointment or email ahead with any questions. Sean is most likely to be at the studio Wed-Sat 9am-7pm unless he is in Maine tattooing at Tsunami Tattoo.

Your email will be reviewed and if your idea is accepted you will get an email or phone call to set up a consultation. EITHER in person, through zoom, or by email. If you would like to proceed with making an appointment a deposit will be due at this time.
Please do not take it personally, Most of the time it is due to the high demand on the schedule. (most new projects are 3-9 months out). But take the time to check out Sean's Instagram and see if your idea aligns with his style and technique. He wants to make sure you get the best tattoo, even if that means someone else is the one creating it.
Yes, of course. The more creative freedom you give, the greater chance you have of getting booked. Sean loves tattooing in many different styles, but really enjoys "illustrative realism" either in color or black and grey. Anything Nautical, nature, anatomical, an/or motorcycle/hotrod related is always a plus!
Yes, while Sean likes the challenge of tattooing in many styles he is not interested in Photo-realism. Please do not mistake this for Illustrative-realism. The difference being the later is based on your ideas and references but is created from there, NOT copied. Other styles he has little interest in are water color and American tribal.
The cost of a tattoo depends on a lot of variables including but not limited to, drawing time and design, style, placement, color or black and grey, ect. Smaller pieces 1-2 hours are priced as a flat rate while multi hour/session pieces are priced per hour. The hourly rate is $200. Most sessions range from 2-3 hours.
We accept Cash and PayPal. credit cards can be used through PayPal ONLY.
